在席琳狄翁复出歌坛的全新专辑《A New Day Has Come》中，不仅可以听到也可以感受到她以热情倾诉着人生历程。
2002年是席琳承诺乐迷们复出的时间，“我只想唱歌，好好享受这一切，我的灵魂想表达自己，我的心想要唱歌。所以就让我的心和灵魂歌唱。”她以满腔的爱与希望蕴育出另一个炙热的生命，她歌唱生涯中第八张英文专辑《A New Day Has Come（真爱来临）》对于席琳有特别意义，她也希望能从某种角度鼓动、激励人们迎向未来。
由17首新作组成的《A New Day Has Come》，席琳与过去超级制作群，包括：David Foster、Walter Afanasieff、Ric Wake等精心打造出意境深远的浪漫情歌及色彩丰富的多样乐风。首支同名单曲《A New Day Has Come》，在细腻悠扬、情感丰沛的歌声中，感受到旺盛的生命能量，热烈地传送到世界每个角落。节奏轻快带来好心情的《I'm Alive》；典型的激昂高亢情歌《I Surrender》；令人潸然泪下的《Goodbye's （The Saddest Word）》；重新诠释Nat King Cole的旧作，仅在钢琴的伴奏下、轻柔吟唱出带有爵士风味的《Nature Boy》，及贴近心房销魂私语《At Last》。“能透过音乐进入他人的生命，对我来说是非常值得的，我也乐意一直持续唱下去。”
